Long Day's Journey Into Night: What Might Have Been

"What the terrible was it that I desired to buy?"

That range is said by Wayne Tyrone in Eugene O'Neill's autobiographical perform (made several periods into a movie), "Long Day's Trip Into Evening." Telugu Movie Reviews

James Tyrone is a take a position in for O'Neill's actual lifestyle dad, Wayne O'Neill, who created a lot of money enjoying the headline part in "The Depend of S5620 Cristo" over and over and over again. When he tried to take on different positions, viewers would not agree to him. For Wayne O'Neill, this was the main disaster of his lifestyle.

It's the disaster that Marlon Brando, enjoying a unsuccessful fighter, reflects so magnificently in "On The Waterfront" when he says to his sibling, performed by Rod Steiger, "I could have been a competitor."  Telugu Movie Reviews

James is assured he could have been one of the top stars of his creation had he not been so targeted on seeking the lord money. As the poet David Greenleaf Whittier had written, "Of all sad terms of mouth or pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been."

In a lengthy speech, Wayne reminisces on what might have been had he followed being the best rather than the wealthiest. He considers he would have been a competitor for the headline, "greatest acting professional of his creation." He indicates the speech with the declaration I estimated at the top of content. Telugu Movie Reviews

In his popular poetry, "The Street Not Taken," David Snow notices that "Two streets diverged in a wood" and continues to ruminate on what might have been had he taken a different road than the one he took. Two streets always diverge. And we will always consider what might have been had we taken the way other than the one we took. We'll never know. For sure, we would have finished up in a different position. But would we have been happier? Would we have been more content?

I often think of what might had been had I created different options. But I did not. And Wayne did not either. For that issue, neither did Snow or Whittier or Marlon Brando or any of us. We created the options we created. And what keeps us disappointed now is not the options we created but the tale we tell ourselves about those options. How we would have been more happy, better, more material, popular, well known and popular had we only followed a different road.Telugu Movie Reviews

No issue which road we take, we will have cut ourselves off from a different lifestyle than the one we select. But we can only have what we select. We can never have actually what we only think about.

The query is not, "What might have been" but, rather, "What now?" What options will determine us now? What road will we take now from among the endless variety of streets that are before us?

First and major, I'm a film fan, but not of all films. I observed that there are certain films I observe continuously because of what they educate me about residing a lifestyle of significance and objective.
